What is Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)?

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by Xavier School of Management (XLRI) in India. This test is held for admission in diverse PGDM programs like PGDM in Human Resource Management, PGDM in Business Management, and courses offered by XLRI, Jamshedpur. Who are all eligible to Apply for XAT 2023?

Candidates who would like to apply for XAT 2023 should meet the eligibility details prescribed by the XLRI Jamshedpur. Management aspirants who do not possess the mentioned eligibility criteria will not be eligible to apply for XAT. Hence, candidates are asked to check the XAT eligibility criteria twice before applying for XAT. The following are the eligibility conditions of XAT,

Eligibility for Aspirants in India:

  • Candidates should have completed a Bachelor's degree (3-years programme) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Final year students can also apply. Though, the students should complete their Undergraduate course within the stipulated schedule (most likely by June 2023).

Eligibility for NRI/Foreign Aspirants:

  • NRI or candidates from other countries except Dubai and Nepal should apply through GMAT scores. XAT will be conducted in these 2 international cities such as Dubai and Nepal.

Age limit for XAT:

  • There is no age limit to apply for XAT entrance exam 2023.

What is XAT Admit Card?

XAT Admit Card is the entrance hall ticket for the candidates to appear for the exams. Those who do not have the XAT admit cards will not be able to appear for the exams. XAT admit cards will be available online for download through the website www.xatonline.in. Students can easily download the admit cards on the given dates and take a print out of the same. The only mode to obtain XAT admit card is to download from the official page. XAT admit card should be kept safe as it will be required even after the exams. Once the XAT admit cards are download, students will have to check all the details present it. If there are any mistakes, it should be conveyed to the respective authorities immediately. Follow the below-given steps to download the XAT admit card.

  • Visit the official webpage of XAT 2023.
  • Enter XAT registration ID and date of birth.
  • Click “Download XAT admit card” tab.
  • XAT admit card will be downloaded in PDF format and can be taken a print out.

XAT admit card should be carried to the exam along with a photo identity card. Any of the identity proof which is listed below can be taken for the exams.

How to Apply for XAT 2023 Exam?

Students can apply for XAT exams by filling out the application form on the official page on the given dates. To do so, the students will have to provide certain personal, education and communication details in the XAT application form. Follow the below-given steps to apply for XAT exams.

  • Registering for XAT

The primary step is to register for XAT through online mode. Students should visit the official page and click on the “Registration” tab. One has to enter certain details, namely name, date of birth, email id and other contact details. Students will have to remember the XAT ID and password for further login sessions.

  • Filling out XAT application form

Once registration is completed, students can fill in the XAT application form. Educational details will have to be entered in the form.

  • Upload of Documents

Students will have to upload their passport size photo and signature as per the prescribed size and format. The size and format are provided in the table below.

  • Payment of Application Fees for XAT

The registration process gets completed only when the payment of XAT application fees is made successfully. XAT application fees can be paid through net banking or by using a credit card or debit card. The application fees for XAT is Rs.1700 and if paid late, the late payment charge of Rs.300.

  • The download of Confirmation Page

Once the payment of XAT application fees is made, the confirmation will be displayed. Students will have to download the confirmation page and take a print out of it.
