The candidates wanting to apply to any of the courses available at the university, can apply by filling the application form and submitting it in the offline mode. The process of filling the application form is given in the following steps.

For UG/PG courses

Step 1-Click on the official website of Ranchi University.

Step 2- Click on the UG Admission Form Sample for Students/ PG Admission form sample for students.

Step 3- Download the application form, fill the relevant details and sign the declaration.

Step 4- The candidate has to submit the form to the University address along with the necessary documents.

Step 5- For paying the registration fee, the candidate has to get a crossed DD made of the relevant amount and submit it along with the filled-in application form and the necessary documents.

For MBA

Step 1- The interested students who needs admission to MBA has to submit the Online Supplementary Application Form (OSAF), the link is available on the official website.

Step 2- The candidate can obtain OSAF copy and other documents directly from Ranchi University.

Step 3- After submitting the OSAF, the candidate will immediately receive a PDF copy of OSAF in their email which the candidate has to take a print out of, on an A4 paper along with the required documents.

Step 5- The student can now make the application fee payment of INR 500 in the form of an A/C payee DD in favour of “Vocational A-1 MBA COURSE”, payable at RANCHI.

Step 4-Now, pay the registration fee in the form of demand draft (DD) of INR 1200 ( INR 600 for ST/SC Candidates of Jharkhand) drawn in favour of Registrar, Ranchi University, Ranchi payable at Ranchi which should be enclosed along with the application form.

Step 5-Now submit the application form, DD and the related documents in the office of Controller of Examinations, RU, Ranchi.

For Vocational Courses

Step 1- Candidates can visit the University department of Botany, Ranchi University, Ranchi, Basic Science Building, Morhabadi and collect the application form.

Step 2- For collecting the form, the candidate has to pay the application form fees.

Step 3- The fee of the form is INR 800, which has to be paid in the form of crossed DD drawn in favour of “Vocation A-1, Biotech”, Ranchi University, Ranchi from any bank, payable at Ranchi.

Step 4- The candidate also has to write the name and course applied for, at the back of the DD.
