JNU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022

JNU Admission Eligibility 2022 will vary for different programs offered by the University.

  • Both Indian and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.
  • The minimum age bar to appear for the exam is 17 years.

U.G. Courses

For B.A. (Hons.) 1st year

  • Students must have passed the senior school certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board or University.
  • Students must have passed the 10+2 level with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Students who are appearing for their qualifying exam can also apply.

For B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year

  • Students must have completed their 1st year of Bachelors' degree or its equivalent from a recognized board or University.
  • Applicants must have completed Class 10+2 level with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Applicants should have adequate proficiency in the concerned language.

P.G. Courses

For MCA Programme

  • Aspirants must have done 10+2 level exams or Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/ BCA) with Mathematics from a recognized board or University.
  • MCA aspirants must have secured a minimum of 55% marks.

For the M.A. Programme

  • Aspirant must have done a Bachelors's degree in any stream under the pattern of 10+2+3.
  • Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

For M.Tech (Statistical Computing)

  • Aspirants must have done a Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operational Research, or any other Science branch OR completed his/her Bachelor's degree in any department of Engineering or MCA from a recognized board or University.
  • Students must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

JNUEE Application Form 2022

  • JNUEE Application Form will be released on the official website.
  • After the successful submission of the JNUEE application will receive a unique application number that must be kept safely for future references.
  • The application form will consider successfully submitted after the payment of the application fee.

JNUEE Exam Pattern 2022

The JNUEE Exam Pattern will vary for various courses

For B.A (Hons.) 1st year (Foreign Language)

  • The exam will Conduct in Online CBT mode.

  • The paper will consist of multiple-choice questions.

  • The language of the paper will be English.

For B.A (Hons.) 2nd year (Foreign Language)

  • The exam paper will set in respective foreign language.

  • The exam paper will contain multiple-choice questions.

  • This Course question paper will include questions from various topics from literature, basic knowledge and applied grammar, the civilization of the country concerned & familiarity with the culture, etc.

For MA (Economics) Programme

  • This course question paper will consist of objective type of questions.

  • There will be two parts in the question papers like Part A, and Part B. Part A will include the objective type of questions, and Part B will provide short and long questions.

For M.Tech (Statistical Computing)

  • The M.Tech question paper will contain a total of 100 questions.

  • The question paper will contain multiple-choice questions.

  • The question paper will divide into two parts – Part A and Part B.

  • For every correct answer, one mark will award. 0.25 marks will deduct for every incorrect answer.

For M.Tech (Computer Science and Technology)

  • The question paper will contain multiple-choice questions.

  • M.Tech Question paper will be a total of 100 MCQs.

  • For every correct answer, one mark will award. 0.25 marks will deduct for every incorrect answer.

JNUEE Syllabus 2022

JNU Admission 2022 Syllabus will release with the prospectus of the exam. The JNUEE Syllabus of the exam will vary as per the courses chosen by the applicants. For Entry into UG Programmes, the Syllabus will contain various topics from the Class 11th & 12th levels. For the PG courses, candidates required to prepare the core subjects from graduation.

1. What is the medium of JNUEE 2022?  

JNU entrance examination 2022 will be conducted in English.

2. Can a change in exam centre be requested after the exam centre has been allotted?  

No, there is no facility to change the examination centres. Candidates must also note that they have to sit for the exam in the centres allotted to them.

3. Can candidates who are in their final year UG apply for JNU Entrance Test?  

Yes, students who are in their final year of UG programmes can also appear for the entrance test.

4. What is the minimum marks required by candidates to apply for JNU courses?  

Candidates must score minimum 50 to 55 percentage of marks in their qualifying examination. It must be noted that the required marks differ as per the categories.

5. Is it difficult to get admission in JNU 2022?
