JEECE Exam 2022

JEECE Exam 2022 - Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam (JCECE 2020) is conducted for candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses at various engineering institutions in Jharkhand. The exam is conducted in offline mode by JCECE Board in the last week of May.

  • For General/BC-I/BC-II candidates – Rs. 900

JEECE 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria


Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Qualifying Exam

Candidate must pass his/her 10+2 level or its equivalent from Jharkhand state Board or any other recognized board or university.

Qualifying Subjects

Candidates in his qualifying exam must have passed the compulsory subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Minimum Marks

Candidates must have passed with minimum marks of 45% for general and 40% for reserved candidates in their qualifying exam.

Age Criteria

No upper or lower age limit is prescribed


Candidates must hold permanent or local residential certificate of Jharkhand state.

JEECE 2022 Exam Pattern

JEECE Exam 2022 entrance test will be held in the second week of May 2020 through online CBT mode.

Number and Type of Questions

The question paper will contain a total of 150 objective type questions. Each section will contain 50 questions.

The test paper will be available both in English and Hindi Language

The question paper will be of total 150 marks.

Marking Scheme

Correct answer,1 mark will be awarded. Negative marking of -¼ will be done for every incorrect response.

JEECE 2022 Counselling

The board will announce the JEECE 2022 counselling process and dates on its official website after the JEECE results are released. However, in the state of Jharkhand, the counselling notice would also be published in local media. The counselling will be done in stages, such as first counselling, second counselling, and so on. The second allotment process will fill the remaining seats following the initial counselling and JEECE 2022 allotment.

The counselling process and allotment will be held online and candidates will have to present in the allotted college with the following documents (with a set of self-attested photocopy)

Exams 2022 - FAQ

1. What are the qualification requirements to appear for JEECE?  

Candidates must have passed the higher secondary examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Also, they must have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST are eligible for relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks.

2. Is there any age limit to appear for JEECE 2022?  

Candidates must have attained 17 years of age and should not be aged above 22 years.

3. By when are the results for JEECE expected to be declared?  

Candidates can expect the result declaration within 30 days of successful completion of the test.
