ICAI Exam 2022 icaiexam.icai.org The CA Foundation May/June 2022 admit card has been made available by ICAI. While The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has changed the exam date for the May/June 2022 session of the ICAI CA Foundation. As opposed to this, the ICAI CA Foundation May/June 2022 exam will be held on June 24, 26, 28, and 30, 2022. In addition, the ICAI has postponed the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination that was supposed to take place at the Silchar (Assam) Examination Center only on June 24 and 26, 2022. The CA Foundation exam is given by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Candidates who have passed the 12th grade exams and wish to continue their education in chartered accounting are eligible to apply for this test.

New Update on 02-07-2022: ICAI Exam 2022 - The CA Foundation admit card for May/June 2022 has been made available by ICAI. Whereas, the ICAI (Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants) has changed the exam date for the May/June 2022 session. The May/June 2022 ICAI CA Foundation exam will take place on June 24, 26, 28, and 30, 2022. In addition, the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination, which was supposed to take place in the Silchar (Assam) Examination Center only on June 24 and 26, 2022, has been postponed by the ICAI. The CA Foundation exam is administered by the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI). Candidates may apply for this test if they plan to continue with the Charted Accountancy Course after passing the 12th grade exam. In essence, the CA Foundation exam is a prerequisite for the Charted Accountancy Course.

Eligibility Criteria

CA Foundation Course

Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from Central or State Board of Education before the examination.

In addition, candidates who have:

  • Registered with Board of Studies on or before 30 June of the examination year

  • Changed to CA Foundation Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before September 7 of the examination year.

CA Intermediate Course

  • Candidates have passed the Foundation examination or equivalent examination

  • Candidates who have registered for previous Intermediate exam as per syllabus under paragraph 2 or 2A of Schedule B or Professional Education (Course-II)

  • Professional Competence Course and converted into Intermediate (IPC) Course/ Accounting Technician Course (ATC)

  • Candidates who have completed graduation or post-graduation in any stream from a recognized institute of India

CA Final Course

  • The candidate who have passed the Intermediate examination or Professional Education Examination – II/PCC/IPCC, are eligible to apply for the Final exam

  • They must also have completed 3 years or 3½ years or must be due to complete, as the case may be, of article training as on the date of filling the form

  • For PE-II stream student and PE-II stream students converted to IPCC – Also, they must be serving the last twelve months of articled training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before October 31 of the examination year.

  • For PCC stream students – The candidate must be serving the last six months of articled training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3½ years on or before 30th April of the examination year

  • For Intermediate IPCC students – The candidate must be serving the last six months of training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before 30 April of the examination year.

  • For students converted from PE-II to PCC as well as for students converted from PE-II to PCC and then to IPCC – The candidate must be serving the last twelve months of training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3½ years articles on or before 31st October of the examination year.

  • Candidates who have taken termination are advised to re-register for the balance period of training

What are the ICAI Eligibility Criteria 2022?

  • For PE-II stream and PE-II stream candidates converted to IPCC - Also, they must be serving the last twelve months of articled training contains excess leave, if any, and due to complete three years on or before 31 October of the examination year.
  • For the PCC stream, students-Aspirants must be serving the last six months of articled training and excess leave, in the case and due to complete 3½ years on or before 30 April of the examination year.
  • For Intermediate IPCC students - Applicants must be serving the last six months of training, including excess leave, if any, and due to finish three years on or before 30 April of the examination year.
  • Candidates converted from PE-II to PCC and converted from PE-II to PCC and then to IPCC -Applicant must be serving the last twelve months of training and excess leave, if any, and due to finish 3½ years articles on or before 31 October of the examination year.
  • Aspirants who have taken termination advised to re-register for the balance period of training.

Exams 2022 - FAQ

1. How do I get my admit card?

Admit cards in respect of all eligible candidates admitted to the Foundation,
Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate, Final and Final-New examination, with their photographs and signatures on them, will be hosted on www.icaiexam.icai.org

2. Will the admit cards contain my photograph and signature?

Yes, if the application you have submitted contains them.

3. What is meant by verification of marks?

The process of verification of marks covers the following:
Checking:
• Whether the answer book(s) compilation is complete
• Whether any question or part thereof has remained unvalued
• Whether there is any totaling error in any question or total marks on the cover page
• Whether there is any discrepancy between the marks for each question and or/part thereof and marks for each question indicated on the cover page of the answer book
• Whether the handwriting of the candidate in all the answer books is the same.

4. What is the procedure for verification of marks?

A candidate can apply for verification, either physically in his own handwriting, or on-line from http://icaiexam.icai.org within a month from the date of declaration of results, giving specific details of the following along with the requisite fees:
• Student Name
• Student Registration No
• Exam-Intermediate (IPC)/Final/CPT
• Month and year of the exam
• Roll No
• Paper(s)/subjects to be verified
• Address for communication
If the candidate makes a physical application, it must be in the handwriting of the candidate. If the candidate had opted for Hindi medium in the examination, his/her application should be in Hindi.
Typewritten applications will not be entertained.
There is no standard format as such for such an application. However, the application should be duly signed by the candidate.

5.  Where should the physical application be sent?

The physical application for verification along with the fees should be sent so as to reach us within a period of one month from the date of the declaration of results, at the following address, by Speed Post or Registered Post:
