HP CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must read and understand the eligibility criteria before filling the application form for HP CET 2022. If any one is found in ineligible at any stage, the candidature is cancelled.

Age Limit:

For Post Graduation Courses

  • In case of boys, the maximum age is 26 years, in case of girls, the maximum age is 28 years.

  • In case of SC / ST candidates, the maximum age is 29 years.

For Undergraduate courses

  • In case of boys, the maximum age is 22 years, in case of girls, the maximum age is 24 years.

  • In case of SC / ST candidates, the maximum age is 25 years.

– Must have secured 45% in Diploma examination / B. Passed B.Sc. Degree 40% in SC /ST.
– Must have passed D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

B.Tech (Direct Entry) – Qualify class 10+2 or equivalent examination.
– Must have secured 45% marks in Gen category and 40% for SC / ST candidates in Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.

B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda)

– Must have 45% in PCB Class 12 marks, and 40% in SC /ST

B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

– Must have passed D.pharmacy from institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India.

B. Pharmacy (Direct Entry) -Must have cleared class 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with 45% and 40% for SC / ST applicants.

B.Arch (Direct Entry)

– Must have passed with 50% in aggregate in Class 12 in PCM.

  • HPCET Application Form will be available tentatively from the 1st week of March 2022. All candidates applying for the exam must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of HPCET. Candidates advised reading all the instructions in the information brochure before filling HPCET Application Form.

  • The application form for HPCET 2022 will be available on the official website. To fill HPCET 2022 Application Form, Students will first register themselves before the last submission date. Details of HPCET Cut off

HPCET cut off is the minimum qualifying score that Students need to secure in the test to qualify for counselling and seat allotment. HPTU will declare a cut off of HPCET 2022 after the declaration of the result. Only the successful applicants whose score is more than or equal to HPCET cut off will provide admission as per their rank Secured in HPCET 2022 exam.

HPCET Counselling Process 2022

Candidates qualifying for HPCET will be eligible to appear in the counselling session after completing the registration process. Candidates will shortlist for counselling based on the merit list prepared based on scores Secured in HPCET or JEE Main, depending upon the test they are applying via for seeking admission.

  • 50% seats in all the participating colleges will be allocated to JEE Main 2022 qualified candidates through counselling, while the remaining places will offer to candidates who qualify for HPCET 2022
  • In case vacant positions are left even after the counselling for JEE Main 2022 & HPCET 2022, then the seats will be allotted to students based on their merit in 10+2.

During the counselling, seats in the states' engineering colleges will allow participating candidates as per their preference. To confirm their positions, Students have to pay HPCET admission fee. Applicants have to pay the registration fee online via debit card/credit card/net banking. After completing the counselling, process candidates have to appear for their allotted institutes for document verification.

What are the Documents Required for HPCET Counselling 2022?
