What are the Procedures to apply for CTET 2021?

  • Candidates have first to visit the official website of CTET(ctet.nic.in). Then they have to click on the link, which says, Apply Online.
  • Students filling the application form carefully and should submit it and get the application number/registration number, noted safely for future reference. Candidates should upload the latest, scanned images of their signature and photograph in jpg or jpeg format.
  • CTET Application fee for the general/OBC (NCL) category candidates appearing either for Paper I or II is Rs 1,000 if they are willing to appear in both the papers, then the amount to be paid as the application fee is Rs 1,200.
  • Aspirants who belong to the category of SC/ST/Differently Abled Person have to pay Rs 500 for Paper I or II, and if they appear in both the papers, then they have to pay the amount of Rs 600.
  • The payment of the application fee is made either through online mode, by net banking, debit or credit card, or by filling the e-challan in the name of Canara Bank/Syndicate Bank.

CTET Eligibility-2021

Candidates appearing in the exam should score at least 60 per cent marks to qualify for the CTET. Successful Students get the certificate, which remains valid for 7 years. CTET is highly competitive, and less than 30 percent of the candidates are usually able to qualify it.

What is the Eligibility for CTET 2021?

  1. Applicants should pass 10+2 with a minimum of 45 percentile aggregate marks to be qualified for appointment as a primary stage teacher.
  2. Aspirants should clear graduation with a minimum of 45 percentile aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 percent aggregate marks to be eligible for appointment as an elementary stage teacher.
  3. Aspirants should complete the prescribed teacher training programs/ teacher education courses.

Step 1: CTET Registration

Aspirants visit the official website of the CTET (ctet.nic.in) and click on the link available for the application form. In the online form, candidates need to fill in the below-mentioned details:

Once all the details in the CTET application form 2019 is filled and submitted, an application/ registration number will generate on the screen. Students need to note down this number and use it for logging in to their registered accounts.

Step 2: CTET Authentication Form 2019

Candidates should log in to their registered accounts using their application number and password. After that, aspirants need to fill the CTET authentication form for 2019. Necessary details to be filled in the authentication form are state, identification type, name, date of birth, and gender.

Step 3: CTET Online Application Form 2019

Once the CTET authentication form filled, aspirants need to proceed towards filling the remaining information in the application form. Information that applicants need to issue in their CTET application form needs to be the same as them in their Class 10 Board exam.

Step 5: Application Fee for CTET 2019

Applicants need to select the payment mode for the CTET examination fee. Aspirants can pay CTET application fee using eChallan in Syndicate Bank/ Canara Bank/credit card/debit card/ net banking.

Step 6: CTET Application Form Submission

After verifying all the details provided by candidates in the registration form, they need to click on the Submit button. Further, Candidates need to take a print of the CTET confirmation page. This page is to be used by candidates for any future reference concerning their CTET 2019 application form.

CTET 2021- Admit card

  • Candidates can download the CTET admit card by using their registration/ application number and date of birth/ password.
  • It may note that CTET admit card has issued only those candidates who have successfully submitted the CTET application form. However, the admit card was not available in the login accounts of candidates, as some media websites were reporting.

CTET 2021- Syllabus

  • CTET syllabus 2019 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) on the official website(ctet.nic.in). The CTET 2019 questions from the subjects from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory), Language II (Compulsory), Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Science, and Social Studies & Social Sciences.
  • Applicants need to appear for CTET 2019 to appoint as teachers from Class I to Class VIII. CTET exam comprises two papers - Paper-I and Paper-II. CTET 2021-Cut off

  • CTET cutoff is the minimum qualifying mark that aspirants need to secure to qualify Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET cutoff 2019 has released in the form of qualifying marks. As per the cutoff, applicants who have secured 60% and above marks have been declared CTET qualified. However, SC/ST/OBC/differently-abled candidates have given concession in the qualifying cutoff.
  • Aspirants must secure the minimum qualifying score in the CTET exam; otherwise, they would not issue the CTET certificate. The CTET website informs, The Validity Period of the CTET qualifying certificate for an appointment is seven years from the date of publishing of CTET Result for all categories. There is no prohibition on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate.

What is the CTET 2021 Selection Process?

  1. CTET application form 2021: Aspirants need to fill their CTET 2019 application form in online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates also need to pay the CTET application fee of Rs 700 (for one paper) and Rs 1,200 (for two papers(I &II).
  2. CTET 2021 admit card: Candidates can download CTET 2019 admit card from the official website of the exam.
